Fruit trees now planted

We are excited to let you know that we have now completed another part of the Wilfswood project. Yesterday about 15 volunteers helped us plant up fruit trees that had been donated by Mendip Council. The trees were a few years old so will be fruiting within a couple of years. We have apples pears and plums. We had ideal planting conditions as the ground was soft as it had rained the day before and Sunday itself was warm and dry.

We still have a few more woodland trees that need planting before the end of the planting season. So if you would like to help us we will be at Wilfswood on Saturday 4th March- details to follow.
